How to get the perfect Pink highlights on Dark hair 3 of the best Pink Hair dyes

You can get these Pink highlights with only one step. That means you will not have to bleach your hair first, you can just apply the Pink shade of choice. What color of Pink can I choose for my dark hair that will show up? On the market right now you have a wide variety of semi, demi, or temporary Pink hair dyes to choose from. From being in the beauty industry I will tell you 3 of my favorite Pink hair dyes that will give you the Pink highlights you are looking for.

The first Pink hair dye is called Atomic Pink made by Special Effects. This Semi-permanent hair dye is one of the best Pink colors around. Even though this is a semi-permanent color the Atomic Pink will actually last much longer like a permanent hair color. The Pink is a very bold, vivid, and bright Pink that will last on your hair for at least 6-10 weeks. If you want the Pink to last longer than 6 weeks add a water and vinegar mix to your hair before you wash the Pink hair dye out. Place a half cup of cool water with a half a cup of White vinegar into a cup or bottle. Then 5 minutes before you are ready to rinse the Pink hair dye off pour this mixture over your head. Leave it on you head for about 3 minutes then rinse your head completely until the water runs clear. If your hair is not tangles skip over the shampoo and just condition your hair. This Pink hair dye is so vivid that if you apply it to dark hair it will show up. For best results pre-lighten your hair first, unless you have light hair already. You can find this product at Amazon, Goodgoth.com, Ebay, beauty store, or some Hot Topic stores carry this. Price for Atomic Pink hair dye is between – dollars a bottle.

A great Pink hair dye is Raspberry Kamikaze made by Beyond the Zone. This Pink Color is totally awesome. The color starts out a very bold looking Raspberry color then after a few washings it turns into a very hot looking Pink color with a few slight undertones of the Raspberry still showing. This semi-hair color is very easy to use, gives your hair shine, cheap, can mix and match with other colors, and will not stain your skin. If you are looking for real hot Pink highlights use Raspberry Kamikaze with a little bit of Bubble Head Pink. This Pink hair dye will cost you .00 a bottle. You may find this Pink hair dye at Sally’s Beauty Store.

If your hair is too dark you must lighten your hair up first in order to get the Pink highlight you are looking for. What color do I have to bleach my hair to in order to apply the Pink color on? You must bleach it to at least a yellow-orange stage before applying the Pink Hair dye. Buy a bottle of 30 volume peroxide creme, and a small tub of Salon Care Prism Lights Dust Free Lightener. Then apply this to the entire head if you want your whole head Pink. Leave it on for 30 minutes then rinse off with a cool rinse. If you are looking for just Pink highlights then place a high lightening cap on. Then pull through as many strands as hair possible or you desire. Then place the bleach on those strands for 30 minutes. Now rinse off the bleach apply the Pink hair dye and let it sit for 15-30 minutes checking the color in-between. Remove the Pink hair dye when you have achieved the Pink color of choice.

Q&A: What store bought hair color can I buy to color over my blonde highlights?

Question by miss tennessee: What store bought hair color can I buy to color over my blonde highlights?
My hair is is naturally a light brown with a hint of strawberry blonde. About 3 weeks ago I had blonde highlights put in it and the girl did it to light and too chunky. Now I just want to have one hair color again. Highlights are too high maintenance anyway. So what is the best way to get back to my original color without going to the salon? What’s the best brand of haircolor? Will it look weird to put color on top of highlights, even if my roots are growing out already? Help!
