May 2010: My Hair’s Reaction to Hair Color/Highlights over BAQ Henna/Indigo
Majority of this vlog has be edited out. When I colored my hair not only was the henna/indigo ends an issue, but the highlights were a hum as well. Watch the vlog where i announce the winner of the contest to get more details as to how and why the winner was chosen. The contest was to be the first to explain what was I going to do about the color (go lighter, back black, henna, or just cut the ends off and leave it alone). They generally look better on hair with more length. On shorter hair or curly fros highlights just look like little specs of color throughout the head I think you have two options: if you want to go black all over, it’s simple, just color your hair black and everything will be fine, however, if you are looking for light brown all over color the only way to acheive that will be to pre-lighten/lift your entire head, and then deposit the color that you truly want on top of that.
